Training
Our training approach focuses on the same principles as our boarding facility. We don’t just teach your dog how to sit, stay and heel, we teach you how to lead your dog through this life as an unstoppable team. We focus on your dog’s health and mental state and ensure they’re in a headspace where they can confidently tackle what their day brings. Whether that’s practising impulse control and decision making by recalling off a bunny or simply relaxing even as the mailman rings your doorbell. Our love for dogs means more than just teaching them commands, we want confident, happy and well adjusted dogs who can confidently take on the world. We focus on mindset over obedience, and relationship over commands.
Board and Trains
Our board and train programs are a fully immersive program where your dog lives with us during training to create a solid training foundation. All board and train graduates will walk calmly on a leash with no pulling, respect all thresholds, kennel up and wait for meal times, place, basic commands, reliable recall and calmness and comfortability in a public setting. After board and trains all graduates will receive full support, including access to texting whenever you need trouble shooting, a full ebook to refer to all things we covered during training and our go home session, and refresher sessions as needed for your dogs life.
-
Our puppy board and train is for puppies older than four months and younger than twelve months. Our puppy board and train focuses on crate training, socialization, basic commands and as always mindset over obedience. Your puppy will learn how to calmly behave in the home and gain confidence in a public setting and with other dogs.
-
Our three week board and train is perfect for those dogs who lack manners, have selective hearing or are overexcited. We’ll work on creating a calm mindset and give your dog the tools to make the right decision. Your dog will learn how to behave in your house, experience working in a public setting and safe socialization with other balanced dogs.
-
Our four week program is intended for those who have harder time making the right decision, experience mild reactivity and overactivity. We’ll focus on creating calm and show your dog how to appropriately react to triggers. As always, your dog will learn how to behave in your home and public settings, learn basic commands and reliable recall and you’ll be equipped with the tools and confidence to confidently take on the world with your dog.
Private Sessions
Private Sessions
Our private sessions start with a full in home evaluation followed by a full program outline to help you reach your goals. Private session programs are a perfect way to tackle specific behaviours or just gain confidence as a dog owner. Private sessions are suited to each individual dog and owner. Our private sessions can take place in your home, in your community, on your favourite trail or even on your favourite patio.
Puppy Foundations
Puppy Foundations
Bringing home a puppy can be stressful, tiring, overwhelming and isolating. Our puppy foundations program is here to help you every step along the way in your puppies first year. We’ll tackle everything from crate training and potty training to socialization and obedience and give you all the tools to raise a well rounded, confident dog. Our puppy foundations starts with our initial in home session followed by a monthly session after that to take on all the new milestones. Between sessions you’ll have step by step guides to follow and access to ask any questions that may pop up.
Group Classes
-
An eight week program that focuses on teaching dogs and their owners how to master the loose leash walk regardless of their surrounding.
-
Master the art of recall and take to the trails with this recall focused 8 week program. This program requires dogs to be on long lines or off leash so we can only accept dog friendly, non-reactive dogs (see our other programs if you have a reactive dog to get involved)
-
Our patio pup class is geared for those who want to be able to bring their dog everywhere with them (and for dogs who enjoy tagging along). We'll practice the basics and then tackle patios and dog friendly store fronts together.
